Absolutely brilliant art direction, minimalist sound design, and a jaw-dropping twist ending are all combined in this fantastic Flash animation called Hero Project.

Very surprised this wasn't blammed. Controls are unbearable and way too sluggish, which may or may not be intentional. Sound is almost non-existent. Ugly assets, which is funny considering it's mostly ripped from the Mega-man games. Rage faces are played out, and should probably be removed.

I like the concept. You take classic Mega-man and make it even harder. You see this stuff done with classic games like this all the time. The problem is that this doesn't play anything like Mega-man. It's too slow and unresponsive. If you can fix the controls then it could be a pretty decent game, even with the sound missing and annoying coolface popping up all the time.
